The project consists of the construction of a new 65,000 sf, 14-bay vehicle maintenance facility that includes administrative offices, a state-of-the-art fuel management dispensing system, a 6,000 sf storage building, auxiliary parking, and extensive site improvements. The facility serves the varied fleet of military vehicles, which support National Guard operations in northeastern Massachusetts. The project is on Camp Curtis Guild (CCG), a 700-acre installation that falls across the jurisdictions of 3 separate town governments, and includes an extensive network of wetlands and other protected natural resource areas. Existing infrastructure systems within CCG were not adequate to support the new facility, so a new half-mile long utility corridor was included in the project.
