The Lincoln Eliot School Addition and Renovation includes the abatement and demolition of the existing four-story, 23,000 sf northern (convent/chapel) section. The new addition is approximately 18,000 sf on a single floor. The addition consists of a lobby, administrative spaces, gymnasium, media center and a new elevator to service three floors. The existing 76,000 sf three-story academic and auditorium structure to remain is renovated including the demolition and replacement of partitions, finishes, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and life safety systems, interior doors and frames, exterior doors and storefront, roofing and food service and fixed equipment. Automatic fire protection systems are provided. Site work for the 5.71 acre site, includes excavation and regrading, storm, soil and utilities installations, pavement, hardscape and walks, site furnishings, and natural turf athletic field and open space.
