The project was renovation work in two Phases with construction activities coordinated around the operation of the existing occupied school. The work involved extensive asbestos abatement and interior demolition and features the following:

- New science casework including student lab tables, fume hoods, and storage cabinets
- New emergency showers and eyewashes
- New gas, water and acid waste services to student tables and demonstration tables
- New ventilation including fume hood exhausts
- New electric services to student tables and demonstration tables
- New lighting
- Partition modifications, new acoustic ceilings and new flooring
